Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters here more than most places. LoopUpward often holds your private goals, journal entries, and reflections. This page explains exactly what we collect and why.

1. What we collect

  • Account info:your name and email address, via Google Sign-In (we don't see or store your Google password).
  • Content you create: goals, actions, habits, journal entries, mood/energy logs, notes, and labels you add inside the app.
  • Billing info: if you subscribe to Premium, our payment processor Razorpay handles your card/UPI details directly. We never see or store your full payment details, only your subscription status.
  • Basic technical data: standard server logs (IP address, request time) used for security and debugging, kept only briefly.

2. What we don't do

  • We don't sell your data to anyone, ever.
  • We don't run third-party ad trackers or ad networks in the app.
  • We don't use your journal or goal content to train any AI model.
  • We don't share your content with other users. Your account is private by default.

3. How we use your data

Solely to operate LoopUpward: authenticating you, syncing your data across devices, sending account-related emails (like billing receipts), and improving the product. If you use LoopUpward without signing in, your data stays only in your browser's local storage and never reaches our servers.

4. Where your data lives

Your account data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database (hosted via Railway) and served through Cloudflare's network. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all requests.

5. Cookies & local storage

The app (at app.loopupward.com) uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to cache your data for offline-friendly use. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies on this marketing site or in the app.

6. Your rights

You can export or permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the app, no questions asked. If you'd rather we do it for you, email hello@loopupward.comand we'll take care of it within a few days.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
